FAQs

When is the deadline to apply for Fall 2027?
Applications for the 2027–2028 school year are now open! For Junior Kindergarten, Grade 6 and Grade 9, HTS offers three application rounds:

- Early Action: November 1, 2026
- Round 1: December 1, 2026
- Round 2: February 1, 2027

Deadlines vary for other grades, so families are encouraged to review the admissions requirements for their child's entry grade.
What grades can students apply to?
Holy Trinity School welcomes students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, offering a continuous educational journey across three divisions:

  • Lower School: Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5
  • Middle School: Grades 6–8
  • Senior School: Grades 9–12
Kindergarten, Grade 6 and Grade 9 are key entry points, with opportunities to apply to other grades depending on availability.
What is the application process at HTS?
Applying to HTS begins with creating an account and submitting an online application.

Families then complete an application checklist through the Parent Portal, including supporting documents such as report cards, identification and teacher recommendations, where applicable.

Eligible applicants are invited to an admissions interview, with additional Discovery Visits for certain Lower School entry grades. Admissions decisions are communicated by email.

Can families visit HTS before applying?
Yes! HTS offers Open Houses and campus tours where prospective families can explore the school, meet teachers and students, and experience the HTS community firsthand.
Campus visits take place at Holy Trinity School, 11300 Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill, Ontario. For additional availability or a visit outside scheduled dates, contact the Admissions team at admissions@hts.on.ca.
What is the application fee and tuition at HTS?
Application Fee: $175



Tuition (2026–2027): $37,300 per year (Includes the daily lunch program for all students)



One-time Enrollment Fee: $7,000



Annual Fund = $2,000 (recommended per child) supporting initiatives that enrich school life. An official donation receipt will be issued.
What additional costs should families expect?
Uniforms: Approximately $1,500 per student.



Technology: Approximately $750 (JK to Grade 8) / $2,000 (Grades 9 to 12).



Breakaway Trips: Included in tuition for JK to Grade 5; additional cost for Grades 6 to 12.



Extended Care (JK to Grade 5): Included in tuition from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. 

Extended coverage from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM is available for $25/day.
Does HTS offer financial assistance, bursaries, or scholarships?
Bursaries: Needs-based financial aid covering up to 50% of tuition costs is available for students entering Grade 6-12. Applications are processed through Apple Financial Services, with a deadline of December 15.



Tax Receipts: Tax receipts are issued under CRA guidelines for Religious Instruction as well as Child Care (for eligible students under 16 years old).
