What does enrollment cost?
For the 2026-2027 academic year, tuition for the Fall/Winter semesters is $22,575, which can be paid in one or multiple installments. During the application process, there is a $175 non-refundable application fee, followed by a $1,100 non-refundable enrollment fee upon acceptance.
Is HTS Online accredited?
Yes. HTS Online is a virtual campus of Holy Trinity School, a registered charity and not-for-profit independent school with over 40 years of educational history at our physical campus in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Our program is fully accredited, and students graduate with the internationally recognized Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
How are classes structured? Are they live or pre-recorded?
We use a careful balance of both synchronous (live) and asynchronous (independent) learning. Students participate in live group classes, small group sessions, whole-school assemblies, and one-on-one meetings with teachers. They also complete asynchronous lessons, which gives them the flexibility to manage their own schedules.
What if my child is in a different time zone?
Our flexible timetables and mix of live and independent learning are designed specifically to accommodate a variety of schedules and time zones. If a student cannot attend a live session, classes are recorded so they can easily access the material afterward.
Will my child be prepared for University?
Yes! Our University-style schedule helps prepare students for university and our mentorship program helps them develop the life and learning skills to thrive after their time with us. We have had many graduates attend prestigious universities around the world including the University of Toronto, McMaster University and University of Bordeaux, among many others!
What diploma will my child receive?
Students graduate with an official Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). In fact, our curriculum exceeds standard provincial requirements. To graduate from HTS Online, students must also complete specific enriched requirements, including an Introduction to Business course and an Experiential Education Placement, ensuring they are exceptionally prepared for post-secondary education.
How is my child's progress tracked? Can I see their grades?
Our communication with families is comprehensive and ongoing, including technical assistance and an excellent onboarding process for new students. HTS Online also provides guidance counsellors and a mentorship program to ensure your child is fully supported.
